My areas of emphasis TO MEET THE SDGs

My goal as co-founder of Global Futurist Initiative™  is for the United Nations to recognize a new Sustainable Development Goal: SDG 18 Youth Equity.

I help convene and nominate young leaders and changemakers from around the world to participate in the 28th Session of the Youth Assembly as an Ambassador.

The IMF Youth Fellowship is a cohort-based program I was accepted in to work on how digital identity affects digital economy, climate change, and inequalities.

I advise the Vice Provost for Student Life on matters pertaining to current students and their experiences outside of the classroom.

As a YOUNGA delegate, I completed activist tasks and communiques for raising awareness about youth priorities in global agendas.  

I attended and hosted a virtual workshop for the One Young World summit held digitally while the in-person event was taking place. 

I taught the course "How Youth will Change the  World" alongside my co-instructor to Chinese high school youth about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and how they can enact change in their communities.

I led the CAST 4ward program to take part in the Enactus Action Accelerator. CAST 4ward couples artistry with a curriculum that teaches about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The UNITE 2030 Youth Delegate Program was a cohort-based program I participated in, which convenes young leaders from around the world working on achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Through raising awareness, I negotiated a partnership with Forced to Flee and Youth Action Coalition to mobilize youth for advocating about climate action, youth equity, and human rights.

I very recently joined the United Nations Association USA at-large chapter to support the young professionals affinity group in bolstering their program.

I designed a systems change program to reduce multi-dimensional poverty in two rural West African villages and built a consortium to implement these efforts.

As Programs Lead for J&J's crowdfunding platform CaringCrowd, I oversaw the stakeholder portfolio of 150+ nonprofits to ensure successful fundraising campaigns (100% personal success rate with 50 campaigns at $300,000) 

I am supporting the work of Dr. David Warsinger's lab at Purdue University by helping to publish their findings on water reusability for agricultural development in Kenya.  

I managed a team of 5 interns in the areas of strategic reporting, marketing, and communications for raising awareness about organizational accomplishments.

Doing my part for combating COVID-19, I volunteered my grant writing services pro bono for The Ventilator Project, now known as TVP Health. I won an InnoCentive Challenge on the team's behalf.

This research study assessed past Ebola virus epidemics to improve outbreak management. Additionally, I raised awareness to fundraise for a campaign to provide relief in partnership with the Sisters Mission Hospital Outreach.

This project investigated challenges Kenya faces with low quality pharmaceuticals with the collaboration of the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH).

I designed the Assembloids program to enable young professionals working in financial services to share their insights and open dialogue with industry professionals on the future of financing the Sustainable Development Goals.

[New!] I am growing a presence in climate financing through collaborative efforts within ImpactVest (private equity firm), Sustainable Finance Podcast, and Wall Street Green Summit.

This coalition was developed to provide advisory support for a Tufts University student's research project on environmental justice. I took on the role of both advisor and editor of the research paper for publication.

The LISD Embedded Practitioners and Actions Program (LEAP) is designed to provide mentorship and reverse mentorship to practitioners in sustainable development. My appointment is to help guide the sustainability of renewable energy support programs for countries in Africa.

As the Sustainability Team's intern, I worked on enhancing the company's strategy on environmental health interventions and refined the team's mission in alignment with the company's Credo.

This project measured greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere around Indianapolis, Indiana, to determine the city’s air quality as part of the Dr. Paul Shepson Atmospheric & Analytical Chemistry research team. I designed schematics and analyzed/visualized data.

Working with IBO's Founder, I co-authored a chapter on mobilizing the peacebuilding community through youth development.

As one of IBO's portfolio initiatives, I am working to build out the Bee 1 World®  virtual marketplace platform to scale IBO's efforts in bridging arts and culture with peacebuilding.

Serving as a strategic advisor to The Trebuchet, I help the Founder and President mentor youth in both a classroom and practical setting to further their passions in the human rights field. 

With 10 years of service in the Pugwash community, I co-authored a paper on social responsibility and led programs that tackled ethics challenges on hot topic issues of the given year.

While a graduate student I led the reporting of the Human Library program and later as an alumni participated as a "book."

I am a liaison for the One Better World Collective which works to advance the SDGs through a transformational message founded upon principals of universal responsibility.
